Everything except the product.
A Cyprus events and reservations platform had built an app and gone looking for customers. What it did not have was a company around the product: no read on which segment to win first, no route from a stranger to a paying venue, no way to run support when something broke the night before an event. We were brought in to build that, and we did not touch the platform itself.
- 01Read the market properly: four buyer segments, each with its own needs and its own measure of success, and the gap between generic global ticketing and narrow local tools.
- 02Wrote a twelve-month go-to-market across four phases and ten two-week sprints, each phase with a measure it had to hit before the next began.
- 03Built the playbooks a team actually runs on: per-channel marketing, an ideal customer profile with scripts and an objection bank, support tiers with response times, and incident comms.
- 04Designed the commercial layer: a two-sided loyalty programme with tiers, expiry and referral mechanics, and the monetisation logic behind it.
- 05Specified the data and automation layer, the customer database, the event taxonomy and the workflows, so the numbers would exist to manage by.
- 06Wrote the testing methodology and ran it against the live app on real devices, which is where the defects surfaced.
The plan was delivered in full: the market read, the phased go-to-market, the marketing, sales and support playbooks, the commercial design and the testing methodology. That methodology went straight to work, surfacing two issues in the live product on real devices and returning each one with a specified fix. The engagement concluded in 2025.
A plan is not a company. Someone has to run it.
