Backlight is a strategic and creative operations company based in Cyprus and working internationally. We do four things: brand and growth strategy, AI-powered content systems that produce video at scale, broadcast-grade live production, and our own ventures. Strategy leads, production supports. That makes us more than a production company: we think, and we make.

We are based in Limassol, Cyprus, and work across the island and internationally. On home ground we handle everything ourselves; abroad we deploy for shoots, broadcasts, and productions wherever the work is. Recent work has run between Cyprus, Kuala Lumpur, and Antalya.

Yes. We deliver multi-camera live streaming and event broadcasting across Cyprus and internationally. We engineer redundant infrastructure and failover to the level each production calls for, and deliver simultaneously to multiple platforms. We broadcast live for CCRI's building opening, ran a hybrid livestream between Cyprus and Kuala Lumpur for Exness with zero dropouts, and covered the Quantum Nicosia Marathon live for television.

Yes. We operate as a fixer and local producer for UK and European productions filming in Cyprus. Permits, locations, crew, equipment, logistics: we handle everything on the ground so your team can focus on the creative. We have supported BBC, Channel 4, KEO Films, and Sky Sports.

Yes. We run a licensed aerial and drone unit. We have flown for international broadcast, including a Channel 5 production in Cyprus, and rigged FPV and Inspire drones for the live television coverage of the Quantum Nicosia Marathon. Permits, locations, and flight safety are handled end to end.

Yes. Corporate video, brand films, conferences, and live events are core work. We have produced and run live AV for corporate conferences, including PwC's annual conference with image magnification and a hybrid feed for remote speakers, alongside corporate films and multi-camera event coverage across Cyprus.

Strategy is our lead pillar, not an add-on. We build brand positioning, growth architecture, and sponsorship and content-to-revenue systems, then the production to execute them. For Soundscape Studios we built the brand, the booking system, and the way to be found. For InviteM we structured the business plan, the financials, and the marketing operations.

Raw scripts enter a multi-agent system that processes them through structured QA, generates digital avatar presentations, applies templated post-production, and delivers production-ready content at a volume and speed traditional methods cannot match. It is currently producing course libraries at scale for a confidential client.
