Tour de France · L'Étape Cyprus

[ The problem ]
L'Étape is the Tour de France's own mass-participation race, staged across the Cyprus coast. This was not a broadcast. It was a logistical challenge: Cyprus did not yet have trained personnel who could cover a race like this on the move. The event's marketing team needed the day captured as it happened, then shaped into promotional media that could carry the campaign afterwards.
[ What we did ]
- 01Cast the crew Cyprus did not yet have: riders on capable bikes who could shoot for hours and manoeuvre safely inside a live race.
- 02Built a lean, deliberate unit to protect the budget: two videographers, five photographers, two safety motorbikes and two drones, an FPV and an Inspire.
- 03Captured the race live across the island as it unfolded.
- 04Edited the material into promotional content for the event's marketing team.
[ Outcome ]
A logistically demanding race day, run with a lean specialist crew, became a library of promotional media under the Tour de France brand, delivered to the marketing team.
