[ The problem ]

The Cyprus Diaspora Forum gathers the island's global community across several days, culminating in the Cydia Awards gala in Limassol. Backlight came in as its media partner and stayed. What began as event coverage grew into a wider remit as the trust built.

[ What we did ]
  1. 01Year one: covered the forum across all of its days and cut the highlights the marketing team needed.
  2. 02Year two: took on more, helping curate some of the speakers alongside the filming.
  3. 03Covered the Cydia Awards 2026 gala in full, multi-camera, for both archive and promotion.
  4. 04Held the relationship across years, so the event's media got sharper each time.
